Orders & Payments

Q: How do I place an order?
A: Simply add your favorite items to your cart and check out using our secure online payment system. You’ll receive an order confirmation email once your purchase is complete.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept all major credit and debit cards. Payments are processed securely through our online store platform.

Q: Can I make changes to my order after it’s placed?
A: Once an order has been processed, changes may not be possible. Please contact us at parkrec@nd.gov as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to help if your order hasn’t yet shipped.

Shipping & Pickup

Q: Where do you ship?
A: We currently ship to the contiguous United States (lower 48 states) only. We do not ship internationally or to Alaska, Hawaii, or U.S. territories at this time.

Q: How long will my order take to ship?
A: Orders are typically processed within 3–5 business days, then shipped via delivery option selected at checkout. You’ll receive a tracking number once your package is on its way.

Q: Do you offer local pickup?
A: Yes! Pickup is available at our Bismarck office only:

We are unable to offer pickups at individual state parks.

Q: My package is delayed — what should I do?
A: Once a package leaves our facility with the mail carrier, delivery times are out of our control. Please check your tracking link or contact the carrier directly for updates.

Holiday Orders

Q: When should I order to receive my items by Christmas?
A: We recommend placing all shipping orders by December 15. While we do our best to ship quickly, we cannot guarantee delivery dates due to high seasonal mail volumes.

Q: Can I return holiday purchases?
A: Orders placed between November 1 and December 24 are eligible for exchange on clothing items only. The holiday return window closes January 31.

Returns & Exchanges

Q: What is your return policy?
A: Returns are accepted on a case-by-case basis within 30 days of receipt. Please contact parkrec@nd.gov before sending items back to confirm eligibility.

Q: Who pays for return shipping?
A: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

Q: Can I return an item purchased at a state park?
A: Online orders can only be returned via the online store process. Items purchased in-person at park locations must be returned directly to that park where they were purchased.

North Dakota State Parks Gift Card

Q: Can I use my North Dakota State Parks Gift Card to make a purchase?
A: At this time, North Dakota State Parks gift cards cannot be used for purchases on the Online State Parks Gift Shop.

Gift cards are valid only for in-park purchases and reservations made through the North Dakota Parks & Recreation Department — including camping, cabin stays, and other in-person transactions.

Q: I love your products! Do you offer wholesale options?
A: We do! We’re always looking to partner with shops and organizations that share our love for North Dakota’s parks and outdoor spirit.
